Last week, my parents had their 27th wedding anniversary. Like usual, whenever we got at least two members (out of three siblings), we strive to hold a mini surprise to please them. in short, we (my brother and I) bought a box of mini doughnuts, with online delivery service. Unexpectedly, both of my parents got super excited and they started to share the old memories of their early wedding life. There was only a few good news I must say. They mostly talk about my mom’s first pregnancy.

They soon got pregnant after few months of the wedding. Everything looked okay until the doc said that the baby-to-be was not healthy and was infected by a disease, in short, they call it “cancer”. You should know that was the first time I heard my mom mentioned “cancer” during this 22 years. I knew a little bit about the tragedy as a child and never really talked about it.

So, my mom and dad shared all the flaws, hardness, and how they struggled and survived. They told us how much time and money that spent, and most hurting part is how much they felt hurt and tested.

I am very proud of everything. They said they did not regret any single thing about it. They definitely have done their best.

That night spent well, and I learned a lot about my own life. I really regret to ever hurt my parents, maybe through my words or behaviors. I did not know they strive so much for this family. I again was reminded of how much Allah swt love me. He is undoubtedly kind, He sent me to these two beautiful creatures. There are so many details to this real-life story of my family and mom said she wanted to write this to a book. Maybe I will help her, cause why not. Let’s see!

Thank you!
